EJ Ceramic Designs Bubble planters are handmade and thrown on the potter’s wheel made out of low-fire red earthenware clay. These planters are then handpainted and polished with a clay patina called terra sigillata.

The patina gives the interior and exterior a smooth-to-the-touch texture but is still porous enough for moisture to absorb into the walls of the planter. The interiors are left unglazed making them perfect for succulents, cacti, or houseplants.

Each bubble planter has a nickel/quarter-sized drainage hole and a matching nesting saucer.
